While yes, having a plastic bottle of water on hand is quick, easy & convenient – it could also be hurting your body & your health.
BPA – Research has identified BPA (bisphenol-a) as a chemical found in plastic that can cause a wide variety of problems to the body including:

- Reduced fertility
- Birth Defects
You may have heard about this as major companies like Walmart have vowed to phase out baby bottles & other feeding products that include BPA.
But this is not true of all water bottle companies.
In fact – if you leave a water bottle in the car or out in the sun, the greater the chance that BPA & other chemicals in the plastic can leach out into your drink – & then enter your body!
The Solution? – If you are going to continue to drink from plastic water bottles – at the very least make sure that they are BPA free. Or – even better – drink from glass containers. Glass has no chemicals that will leak into your system & is re-usable & thus – also saves you money in the long run!
